I'm so excited to announce the next organization Give Mac will be donating to. Drumrollllll puh-leeeeasse.....

All purchases made through 11.12.2022 will be donated to Girls on the Run of Northeast Wisconsin. Their mission is to "inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running." They "envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams." You can learn more about Girls on the Run here.

As a runner myself, this one is personal. I'm so thrilled to work with them and so energized to bake my heart out for you.

What a wild 6 months! From halting macarons, to baking cakes and cupcakes, to breakfast biscuits, to cake toppers, and finally back to macarons. I'm so grateful for all your orders and all the love with this round of giving back.

We raised $688 for We All Rise: African American Resource Center! $688! And to top it all off we were able to celebrate with them at their Juneteenth event. It was so special and so much fun!

I'm hoping to announce our next organization in the coming weeks so stay tuned and keep those orders coming. Yay!

Yay! As many of you know, I took a break from selling macarons to work on a more reliable recipe with "the best" egg white replacement, potato protein. Turns out it wasn't all that great. So I went back to my old recipe using aquafaba, worked on a few tricks and techniques, and here we are!

Ordering is LIVE, but it's going to look a little different for the time being so please check out our macaron page for more details. First day of macaron pick-ups (in Appleton) will begin this Sunday, June 12.

(I am a one woman show so hopefully everything is set up correctly for placing orders. You are not charged at the time of your order and I will reach out to via email within 24 hours to confirm. The time of your order will hold your place in line. If you have any difficulties you can always just email me.)

Crumbfetti!

Rainbow sprinkled vanilla cake and perfectly crunchy cake crumbs in each layer of our tangy cream cheese frosting.

Order this cake as pictured, add a simple cake topper, or we can cover it with more cream cheese frosting and decorate it to your match your theme. It is perfection.

You can still find Funfetti on the menu if you prefer the classic version. It is ridiculously delicious too.

Wow! Two months of selling cakes and cupcakes and you all have kept me busy. I am so incredibly grateful!

Let's start with the fun news first! We have added two new items to the menu. Our 24Carrot Magic cake is so special- roasted carrots, cinnamon, cardamom, toasted walnuts, and a hint of lemon. Covered in our sweet and tangy cream cheese frosting. AND we have our Big Fancy Brunch Biscuit (found in the specialty cakes section). It is a JUMBO buttermilk biscuit that is deliciously buttery and sweet. Fill with your choice of a lemon curd, seedless raspberry jam, or a sweet cherry filling. Serves 10-12!

And the boring news...working full time at my "real job" and giving 120% of my love into Give Mac has shown me my limits. I will be taking a maximum of two orders per week. No booking is too far out and no booking is too near, but when I'm booked-I'm booked.

I am so excited to continue to bake for you. So excited.

It's official- cakes, cupcakes and smash balls are here! Even though macarons are still on hold we've managed to make lemonade out of lemons. Well, cakes out of macarons.

See the new tab for the new menu and "in progress" cake/cupcake flavor list.

Orders will be very limited so please book early. Appleton pick up is preferred and I will be working on delivery fees. If you have questions just reach out. I'd love to work something out.

"I have not failed. I just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Nikola Tesla

Hey, it's me. Although you don't really know me yet. My name is Cassandra and I'm the owner of Give Mac and the only person behind the scenes of all those cute little French desserts (besides my husband who has been a trooper with taste testing countless amounts of fillings).

Macarons are hard. Vegan macarons are straight up rude. “Fake it till you make it” was working, but behind those scenes...I'm tired. And sick of wasting products hoping it's going to be a "good batch day.” Something needs to change if I’m going to grow and continue this dream.

The change? I'm currently waiting on a new protein to replace my aquafaba and it should be more reliable. Unfortunately, it won't be delivered in time for me to practice and confidently promise you all perfect Valentine's Day macarons.

So, here is the good news...I love to bake. Making a cherry pie over Christmas for family and baking birthday cakes for a couple of friends helped remind me why I started this whole journey. I know my flavors are amazing. I know you can confidently share my desserts with friends and family who aren't vegan and they'll love them just the same. I know I want to continue to "give back."

Please stay tuned for a different type of Valentine's Day baking from yours truly, Cassandra (aka Give Mac).

7.7.2021

The good news is we moved into our new home! Bad news is our kitchen needs to be updated. I'll be taking an unexpected pause for the next couple of months, but I hope to be back Fall of 2021. In the meantime I'll be perfecting the fillings and testing out some new ideas. Stay tuned!
